It’s easy to get into a rut. I actually avoid doing one-shot gags nowadays because I find it a lot easier to write from inside a storyline — where the topic is self-propelling and I don’t need to come up with a new scenario each day.

I totally agree.

It’s funny, I used to post quite a bit in the News section on the old site, but since I outsourced all off-topic ramblings to my art blog, I don’t really have a lot to contribute here. Most of what I want to share with you often ends up in the comments for the strip that day. I just feel like maybe I should be posting more, but I can’t really think of anything of interest. Ofcourse I do share a lot of personal thoughts via Twitter over there in the sidebar already. It’s a pretty good system I guess. Maybe I just need to get used to it. But hey, if you have something you’d like me to ramble about, feel free to leave a comment.

I’ve been adding part of the comic backlog to the wordpress archive, and I read this in the comment for the first Vendetta comic, posted on the 8th of January 2007!

“The kickoff of the Dinerdate Vendetta storyline. This is gonna be a pretty long one.”

Wow.

I knew the Vendetta storyline was long, but I didn’t remember it was thát long!
