As Tom and the gang set off into the unknown, Kat finally manages to sneak away, but not before scrounging up some loot.
It occured to me it might have been a good idea to more clearly define that those are all big piles of pocket change. It’s hard to draw much detail this small.

Tom and Alex decide it’s time to do something about their perdicament. Will they turn the tables?

I’m pretty comfortable with drawing the main characters, but now that there are a few new additions, that process starts all over again. Alex isn’t too hard, but having women in the cast now requires some training. It’s difficult to stylize a woman to this cartoony style while keeping her attractive-looking. I’ve been browsing around to see how other have handled it, and I think I’m starting to get it down. Sarah turned out especially well this strip I think.

It has been a while since Tom was involved in ‘ladies business’, so he’s a little rusty. And on a night like this, I don’t think you can blame him. Lucky for him it seems this girl can appreciate his quirks…

I don’t often draw realistic these days, so it’s nice to do an occasional panel like this. Coloring becomes increasingly important the more realistic you draw.

Tom has one of his Noir daydreams again as the gang arrives at the rival diner. Is his gut feeling right? Who is really behind all this?

Another film noir comic, this time a little deeper. The monologue is filled with cliché noir metaphors. Turned out pretty well.
